Shipping & Returns
Ordering

Orders are non-cancellable and non-modifiable due to automated fulfillment processes. Unopened, sealed items may be returned for a refund (less shipping) without a restocking fee.

Customer is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the address at checkout. Once an order is placed, we are unable to change the address.

Shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. Carrier delays are out of our control and not eligible for refunds.
Fulfillment (USA)

Expedited orders are fulfilled using either FedEx or UPS Air.

Non-expedited orders are fulfilled using USPS as the last mile carrier.

Tracking for non-expedited orders may not go live for a week or so. The item has shipped and this is normal.

All taxes and tariffs are pre-paid on your behalf. There are no additional charges or actions necessary.
Fulfillment (International)

We have partnered with Global-e for fulfillment. Benefits to you include localized checkout, payment and unless otherwise specified, all duties and taxes are calculated and paid upfront. There will be no additional charges on delivery.

Unless otherwise specified, international orders shall be shipped using DHL Express as the courier.

New policy effective November 5th, 2025 at 12PM PST. All prior orders are subject to previous DAP/DDU terms and conditions whereby customer is soley responsible for the seperate payment of duties and taxes to the courier before delivery.
Returns

The return window is 14 days from the when the customer receives the product.

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and arrangements unless the item is defective.

For defective returns, a full refund including shipping will be issued.

Defective only covers material flaws that prevent the product from performing to the original factory specifications.

Defective specifically excludes incompatibilities, image quality issues relating to the inherent properties of analog video and cosmetic flaws. Please see section below.

If we supply a return label for a non-defective return, the costs of shipping will be deducted from the return.

Additional fees may be deducted if the item is returned to us with user damage or if the return is incomplete.
Incompatibilities and Image Quality

Customer is responsible for being familiar with the expected image quality, such as but not limited to the quality of composite versus RGB, given the console they are using and the method of connection before purchase.

Customer is responsible for ensuring that the equipment, such as the game console, is in good working order and being familiar with its proper usage.

Customer is responsible for reviewing the product page for known compatibility issues prior to purchase.

Due to the almost infinite number of variations of devices and signal chain setups, we cannot be responsible for factors out of our control including modified consoles and aftermarket adapters and equipment.

Under no circumstances can we guarantee functionality on modified consoles and/or consoles operating outside their original intended format. We cannot provide support for use on modified consoles. Please contact your modder for assistance.

Furthermore, we can only assure acceptable image quality and functionality from cables that are manufactured with the proper shielding, impedance and video levels.

Depending on the age of your console, the quality of your power supply and the quality of your cables, the output image may be contaminated by noise. You might not see the noise when connected directly to a TV, because your TV is adding filtering that, among other things, introduce lag and artificial smearing.

We cannot assure any level of noise performance for consoles not using their original OEM power supplies.
Warranty

All RetroTINK products are covered by a limited 1-year warranty.

Warranty only covers items that are sold directly by us. If you purchased a product from a reseller, please refer to them for their policy and for service requests.

Warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferrable.

Warranty requests for units that have been resold will not be granted.

Warranty does not cover deliberate or accidental damage to the product, such as, but not limited to electrostatic discharge damage or damage resulting from applying over voltage to an input.

Customer is responsible for inbound shipping costs for warranty claims.

User is responsible for outbound return shipping on units that were sent to us and subsequently found to be non-defective.

At our discretion, we will repair or replace the device.

As above, the Warranty does not cover incompatibility or claims of noise that are not RetroTINK related.
